When it comes to classic Long Island steakhouses, few places capture that old-school charm and timeless consistency like Bryant & Cooper. It’s one of those restaurants where the moment you walk in, you feel like you’re part of a tradition — white tablecloths, polished service, and perfectly cooked steaks every time.

šŸ“ Location: Bryant & Cooper Steakhouse, Middle Neck Rd, Roslyn, NY 11576. Right in the heart of Roslyn — a few minutes from Americana Manhasset and surrounded by some of Long Island’s most beautiful neighborhoods.

Over the years, I’ve fine-tuned my go-to order here, and if it’s your first time (or even your tenth), here’s exactly how I like to do it:

🦪 Starters: Go Big, Go Cold

Shellfish Tower: My all-time favorite way to start dinner. Layers of oysters, shrimp, clams, and lobster — a seafood lover’s dream. The key is the horseradish — don’t skip it. That sharp, clean kick against the cold shellfish is unbeatable.

Lump Crabmeat Cocktail: Perfect for a smaller party. Light, elegant, and fresh — and again, always ask for extra horseradish. Their blend hits a balance you won’t find anywhere else.

šŸ¤ EntrĆ©es: The Main Event

SautĆ©ed Shrimp with Crabmeat: Ideal for sharing if you’re dining with a party of four or more. It’s buttery, flavorful, and always a crowd favorite.

Cajun Colorado Rib Steak: The star of the show. Perfect char, deep flavor, and that bold Cajun spice that sets it apart from any other steakhouse.

For two people, I recommend pairing the Cajun Colorado Rib SteakĀ with a Prime Sirloin — the perfect contrast between spice and dry-aged depth.

Dry-Aged Porterhouse: A Bryant & Cooper signature. You can even request it Cajun style — it adds the perfect kick to a classic cut.

šŸ„” Sides: The Essentials

Lyonnaise PotatoesĀ and Fried Onions — crispy, golden, and the ideal complement to any steak. For greens, go with SautĆ©ed String BeansĀ and Creamed Spinach — lighter and smoother than Peter Luger’s version, especially if you prefer something less heavy.

ree

šŸ° Dessert & Drinks: The Perfect Finish

Pecan Pie — warm, nutty, and the best way to end the night.

For drinks, start (or end) with a Manhattan, Martini, or Vesper. Their pours are generous, the vibe timeless.

Whether you’re celebrating, catching up with friends, or planning your next big move, Bryant & CooperĀ never disappoints.

And if you happen to stop by on a Friday night — maybe you’ll see me there. We can sip a martini, talk about your next real estate investment plan, and toast to living (and eating) well on Long Island. šŸøāœØ
